While we try to contact you with abnormal results, please do not assume tests are normal just because you have not heard from us. It is your responsibility to contact us. Please complete and submit our test results form for results carried out by the practice. Tests arranged by hospital specialists will be returned to the specialists who requested them (they are not usually copied to us at the surgery as a matter of course). You should ring the consultant’s secretary who will get the results sent to you.

Most tests require at least 3 working days. X-ray results usually require 7 days.
